are the strands of ancient affinities
drawing poison minus hope of an antidote
save the silver slip of hope gone into oblivion-

The dying unending.. and that too an illusion;
windowless realities mirroring always,
the threat of tomorrow..
deadlier than the bite of now - oozing into pores
..a liquified terror slithering in the glass-

Antiseptic den of this shambling shadow man..
coughing up life.. uniformed in despair,
chained ankles rubbing bare, the skin
and within the glass uncoiling,
moving slow and slinky with intent,
with forked tongue on sodden minds,
soft as rotten fruit:

is my gargoyle charade-

brainless unison
invisibly fettered
life once shared
once consummated
now shredded..
a sick moist joke.

This habit, viperish and wise,
slicing through care..
killing roots and times that are
idomitable now and for evermore..

"Love calls home"

no strength..
no redemption..
cold echos in a wilderness of thought..
twittering in a cage
biting, the quick of it's life,
in a swift savage rage..
I'm gleefully dying
in what I wear now,
this habit.. snug as the last shroud,
dribbling into apathy
slack-jawed into the final scene.

Dearest~

To be kind where you are concerned, as always, is just second nature ..

Do not judge yourself too harshly, OR beat yourself up for the uncontrollable presence of an uninvited emotion that has lingered since long past and ancient affinities ... This does not define you. Nor is it a means in which your worth should be measured or determined.

In all the darkness not only dwelling but almost feasting on the soul, I still see movement here. A movement by which many new and wonderful revelations might be discovered. Nothing you say OR do is accidental. That you have the presence of mind to not only recognize a short-coming, but also to attempt to face it and vanquish it shows an integral (and yes!), inherent strength. You, sweetheart, are no surface dweller. Your emotion; your affinity; your bravery runs deep.

Compelling and soul-baring writes like these do not come from the timid .. they are driven by the tenacious of heart!! I am a firm believer that bravery does not lie in the estimation of one’s strength, but in the estimation of one’s weakness, who still have the temerity to face adversity. How brave was David when meeting Goliath? Bravery does not come from overcoming fears .. but by facing them. Pouring out thought onto page is a means by which we face our fears.

Your worth is boundless ..

in admiration and with much love,

~Breezy
