I am who I am,
My flaws are many.
But I do not care,
For my Heart makes up for them.

This is How I Live,
I work myself ragged,
Why do you ask?
Because I love living on my own.
And until the day that I can work less,
Yet make more,
I will work my jobs and just suffer through it.

This is My Pain,
It tears me apart every day,
I keep a stolid and strong facade.
But it is just a facade.
Inside I am crying,
Inside I am dying.

This is Me,
I am a simple man,
I am a caring man.
Though I have my problems,
I will survive them and this world.

So I ask you now,
Will you care for me?
Will you listen to me?
Will you be there when I need you?

I don't know your answer,
It will be a mystery.

This is My Pledge,
I promise to love and care for
Everyone in my life.
I promise to protect those who are
Under my charge to keep safe.
I promise to become a better man,
I promise to make it through this life.
