I thought i saw forever in the blue
I quickly fell in love
In love with the person i thought was you

But my happiness faded away
This pain will only persist
Because i was looking deep in the eyes
Of someone who doesn't exist

He hid the guilt behind his smile
And made me fall for his deceit
When i thought he was my world my everything
The only reason my heart could beat

His lies hid behind his lips
that kissed my fears away
But left me choking on these tears
that wont seem to go away

He hid the cheating behind his touch
that lit up my whole face
And id put my head against his heart
because i thought that was my place

He hid the truth within his sweet words
that made me clearly see
But all this time i didn't know
he didn't mean those words for me

He hid his game in his heart
and secretly played with my mind
I thought i found my future
But i was never worth his time

He hid the truth inside of him
and all along he didn't care
But it was the little bit of hope left in me
that kept me hanging there

But now that i learnt the truth
I'm FORCED to fight this pain alone
Because the ONLY time i didn't have to
is when his heart was STILL my home.. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 159 [topic] => 22 [informant] => AmberJoy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
