Everyone who is right or wrong,
Take your place in this land where we live,
Where taking counts, and nothing gives,

Where we have only blessings to count,
For there is no money in our bank accounts,
Where life itself has no sequel,
For rich and poor can never be equal,

Heroes are those who take a stand,
And try and help there fellow man,
But they are accused of sparking hatred,
Are accused of treason, and always berated,

The idiots are those who cause the wars,
Over money, oil, and settling scores,
Its not those who fight? they just lie?
And the innocent , are the ones who die,

So take your place, which side do you take,
Heroes or idiots, its your choice to make,
So join the ever growing throng,
Will you be right, or will you be wrong.

I agree Sue its the innocent who suffer and people who try to help and stop thease things happening get treated as the idiots..I also think rich people never seem to be happy they have done it all, at least when you save for something you can look forward to it and know you achieved something..Im the one rambling on lol.. Brilliant poem Sue..xx

Nice write! The vast chasm between those with money and power, and those who live normal human lives, with normal human emotions is undeniable. You've put that into words wonderfully. Stand up to the man!
