Their cause unknown,
Have crept into the heart of me,
And found themselves a home,
I cannot deny these emotions so vile,
I want to give in to their wit and their style,
Something, however, holds me back;
These emotions don’t make up for all that I lack,
So what’s the point of being carried away?
And speaking words that I don’t mean to say?
I’m happy for you; really I am,
It’s just these emotions, they’ve broken the dam,
Once, unbelievably, I was in control,
I knew how I felt, deep in my soul,
Yet now it seems, they’ve got the better of me,
And these strange feelings long to be free,
Pours like poison off of my tongue,
And I can’t seem to stop, though I know that it’s wrong,
So, please, don’t take these words to heart,
An emotional whirlwind tears me apart,
Somehow you always do better than me,
And I can’t wash away this jealousy,
I apologise if I bring you down,
But don’t overestimate each tear, each frown,
I’ll deal with these things as I have always done,
And soon, the jealousy, shall be gone. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 356 [topic] => 50 [informant] => Ruby2sdy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ApologyPoetry )

We've all felt that emotion at one time or another, your not alone and it stays with us 4ever. but as it comes it also goes when we realize that it's lik fire, the more angry we are the more the fire rages and eventually consumes u till nothing is left, i'm sure your worth something. beautifuly express. sorry 4 your pain. *****

The working it out, the regaining of control and the apology all flowed with a special syntax and rhyme in this very well written write that comes from the heart of what has to be one lovely lady. Third read of your work and I've been missin' a lot! Let's see, got 64 more to go!
