Lifepoems

Why is it always something,
Me accusing you to be
Misbehaving.
Your corrections are encouraged,
For you know yourself better than I,
But you should fear,
I know enough for your own good:
How far will you go
To be that
Athletic idol
And Mr. Personality?
I can just see you
Stumbling up that ladder of
Unlabeled pills
To unreachable heights,
Falling out of reality.
You don’t act more than a rich celebrity
Unless the cameras are off.
Under the spotlight,
To the naked eye,
You’re the all American.
But to the eye of the forgotten beholder,
Your faults come pouring trough.
Now, dimming the lights,
Your perfection shines.
But the public lights
Are always ablaze.
A note of advice:
They really don’t care.
You’re just a phase.
A phase for me too,
A chapter in my book,
A style to write with
If you figure you’re being just.
The law of
“One Of The Guys”
Is unfair completely.
But you do not have to obey.
Although you can’t choose discretely.
Public attraction:
It’s either all or nothing.
Or
The real deal:
Stay thick through good and ugly.
Hard choice.
Make it known.
If you can’t do it yourself,
I’ll help you one last time.
Though, if it’s not your own decision,
I guess you’re as good as
Already gone.
