With the cryptic crawling of spiders in the attic,
With the mystic buzzing of TV’s giving static,
The old man weeps to amphetamine police,
The cold hand grips to its choked up leash,
Adrenal music musting up this once fresh room,
Colostomy calling cards that ring into his tomb,
Bed sores mark the history with every single bruise,
The ambulance will take a chance in the midst of the gloom,
The icebox combats all the worms that nibble at his tongue,
A new cadaver ever after toe tags have been hung,
A myriad of soothing smells formaldehyde brings,
While sleep struck zombies lay awake inside the deepest freeze.
