For the cup is what you make it
Because the decisions you make
And all of your wit
Put everything at stake

So just ignore the cup
And focus everything on the good
For the cup won’t lift your mood up
It just covers everything with a hood

Instead look at the sun
For it is always shining bright
And never comes undone
It will be where you find your light

So don’t start having a doubt
Stand with a smile and fight
Don’t wallow in a corner and pout
Bathe in the sun’s brilliant light

Or it can be half empty

This is a good poem even though I have no reason to bathe in the suns light.Excellent poem!
