Her Passion

She's so calm and collected
Heart under control it seems
Aww but I see her different
In her heart passion teems

She sits there so cool
No discontent will you see
But down deep inside
Her heart longs to free

Free to escape reality
Explore the extra mile
Touch the essence of fantasy
If only a little while

Aww but it gets complicated
Like finding another to understand
Even the simplest sharing of these thoughts
So many would never understand

But to satisfy her own heart
Her dreams must be shared
So many would be hurt
If she ever dared

Yet passion slowly moves her
Toward the inevitable dawning of the day
When she will at last succumb
Fling caution away

Then shall passion erupt
As a volcano in the night
Pent up emotions overflowing
Propelling her toward the light

The light of hidden dreams
Of courage to explore
Toward the light of her hope
"There must be something more!"

Is this poem about me?! This one made me tear up rather quickly. Love it, love it, love it. It's so perfectly written. It is the best thing I have read on here so far. Amazing work, Russ. :)
