Standing by her window
Staring at the midnight sky
Staring at her vague reflection...
Her reflection on the sky...
The midnight writer

The midnight writer
Midnight
The darkest hour...
Most see fear in the black of the night
She only finds inspiration
In the mystery the darkness holds

The midnight writer...
The writer, the poet, with a poet's mind
Slightly insane, but mentally stable
What you may see as ordinary
Or everyday...
She sees words in her head

Any emotion, any thought
She turns it into words
Somehow, someway...
She turns it into something real
Something you know so well...
Something to see, to touch...to feel

the midnight writer
With a hand like magic
Writes the words you read...
the amazing words...
they are hers...only hers

They are the words of music, of beauty, of love, of death
They are the words of a writer
They are the words of midnight
They are the words...of the Midnight Writer [comments] => 3 [counter] => 200 [topic] => 69 [informant] => midnight_writer [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => poets )

I read the poem and got the meaning. But inspiration did not leap up and say anything to me. Still I was not sorry to read it. Maybe just not my taste. Some of your other works are more enjoyable
