They say two wrongs don’t make a right
But Israel wants to prove that’s not so true
They say the rules have all been changed
And dead Lebanese children can’t argue

I wonder, do they think we can’t see?
That we’ve lost the power to calculate?
When they engage in wholesale slaughter
And pretend to innocence not hate?

To such extremists it must all make sense
And fully justify barbaric acts
Tell the world you’re pristine white
As you kill their children and twist the facts

What’s wrong is wrong, they can’t make it right
No matter how good their PR folks are
Children lie dead because of them
Stone cold beneath their bloody star

Steeleyes,
It's so tragic and so sad what's happenning in Lebanon. My parents have alot of family there. It's the innocent civilians that pay the ultimate price. What's wrong is wrong and no matter what they do they can never make it right. We know the truth. A very well expressed and written poem my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with all the Lebanese people.
hugs n prayers,
sue m
