Oh, I have to have that picture,
Oh, mom look, a pug poster,
Can I have a pug please.

Pugs for sale in the newspaper,
400.00 a pup.
Sorry sweetie, Can't buy one.
Might as well give up.

One day I saw the sadness in her eyes,
She had a very bad day.
I asked you dear Lord,
Please make a way.

That day I went to an animal shelter,
And there was a pug,
God answered my prayer.

Fred came home in march,
He saw ashley and might as well had said.
I love you, I was born to love you,
Your my friend.
He followed her everywhere,
He wanted only her.

Today,
july 19, 2006
Fred passed away.

We love you fred,
You were the best dog this family ever had.
There was not a mean bone in you body,
And now you lay dead.
The heat got to you,
You were just to small to take,
Leaving town for the day without you,
Was a big mistake.
We should had let you be in the house,
No matter what mess we would find,
We could had done alot of things,
We didn't take the time to think
What could happen.

We are sorry...
We loved you Fred,
Thanks for being our friend,
for 4 months.

We will miss you. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 29 [informant] => sandypoet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => PetPoems )

The loss of a family member even though it may be the family pet is still a great loss. This is a well written tribute to your friend Fred. Take care and GBU.
