You gave me fourteen years of pure and simple happiness, We grew together from childhood to adulthood. You always knew how to cheer me up When things seemed like they couldn't get any worse. You imprinted yourself on me and I imprinted myself on you. You were more than a best friend to me, I would have sacrificed Anything for you. To me you were the world. I was with you when your journey came to a close, instead of Crying I smiled and clapped my hands for you because your life And all the happiness we shared deserved a round of applause Not tears.
