[time] => 2006-07-17 14:53:51 [hometext] => Um... i kept getting writers block when i wrote this, especially on the last word... so tell what ya think! [bodytext] => waiting for nothing but the dead feeling again.
i watch children cry as they play,
as they sink back into the floor boards,
and i'm alone again.

rapid pain savaged demons,
walk the world hunting me.
but it's not like others see them,
neither is it like they want to see.

i wish my nerve endings were broken again,
but instead i'm placed with a warmth from steve, i can't ignore.
but last night i heard screaming telling me to kill myself,
and some how i woke wondering into the ocean's shore.

i woke out of my impulse,
just in time to save my life,
then on the beach they were all around me,
and i punched them with fists of ice.

but my arms slipped through their bodies,
and they grinned as i swore abuse.
i was scared for steve and JC watching,
and scared to realize it was NO USE!

closed in a world of demonic screaming,
i stumbled back on to the stones.
and stumbling over to steve,
i reached him and wouldn't let go.

walking back along the sea-front,
he held me close within his arms.
and told me it'd be OK,
his voice so gentle and warm and calm.

i was vulnerable and very drunk,
but he took no advantage over me.
he walked me back and saw me in.
and smiled as he walked away.

today, he's been very supportive,
and i can't really understand why.
i was so sure he'd use me,
or just turn and run when i cried!

but instead he's willing to be here,
and willing to help me when i'm feeling down.
instead he gives me compliments,
and says he'll always be around!
