Noone ever took the time to know JoJoe
To them he was just another getto kid running the streets
But no not JoJoe they did really know him
A straight A student
Never missed a day of school
Alway on his grind
Trying to make every thing just fine
It was all for his baby girl
Bang Bang 25 To Life
Now his looking out the prison walls
Hope his baby girls doing ok
And praying for his wife to stop those drugs
It hurts him to know that his baby girl at 7 has to take care of her mommy
Every day is hard day trying do good
Even know every one just wonts to see you frown
Bang Bang 25 To Life
He was just going to get some milk and bread for his beautiful family
Not knowing just around the corner waited a bad dream to come true
All he heard just ***** you BANG BANG
Cops came and heard the clame
They had no clue who it was but when they seen JoJoe
That was the end
Cuffed him with no questions
JoJoe yelled and screamed It wasn't me! It wasn't me!
Let me go please I have family!
The cop said in his ear you picked the wrong day to be mexican
Bang Bang 25 To Life
Went to court He pleaded It was this white man with green eyes
He had a red over shirt with a white shirt under and black jeans
The judge said boy quit saying those lies
Then down the judge Banged guilty
Bang Bang 25 To Life
They cuffed him and took him to prison
JoJoe said Is it just because I'm mexican! (anger)
The cop laughted Hell Ya and shoved him in the car
Now JoJoe's all out of tears
Woundering why the law Is so races
Writing poetry about the ***** up way the cops treat him beats him every day
All they tell him is you shouldn't be mexican and this ***** wouldn't come your way
Damn now he'll never get to see his baby girl grow up
Bang Bang 25 To Life

Very moving
Lets hope that someday racism becomes part of our history - never to darken our futures again..
