[bodytext] => Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts, cause' you realise that the best thing for them is for you to let them go? Stared straight into a mirror and watched the pieces fall away, cause' all of which that defines you suddenly becomes unknown? Felt like time has frozen still, cause' you know that your love for this person will always remain the same? But you know you have to try and move on, cause' you don't want to open up the unintentional wounds once again At about this time the lies and manipulation began, and so the conflict and friction was formed And even though you and I were always truthful, never choosing to tell a lie, we ended up to be the ones that were torn Our bond was broken... time after time, but somehow we held on to pull through with flying colours But I guess in the end it was inevitable that you would eventually sir come to the pressures of others I'm sorry for all the pain and suffering that I have caused you and I wish there was someway that I could take it back I just wish I never felt like I always had something to prove, maybe in the end all you were trying to show me was exactly that? I should have listened to the advice given to me by others, when everyone started to interact Then just maybe, with everything that we've been through... our relationship would still remain intact? Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts, cause' you realise that the best thing for them is for you to let them go? But you know you have to try and move on, cause' you don't want to open up the unintentional wounds once again You were scared to tell me things about yourself, but really you had no reason to be afraid And I know that I sometimes was over protective, making you feel like you were enslaved But I never meant to make you feel insignificant, or that you always needed to be saved it's just that I'd never forgive myself if something ever happened to you, leading me to dig my own grave All I ever did was care about you and tried to help you through tough times But I'm starting to see what pushed you away and I never wish that I crossed the line I just hope that you can find it in yourself to forgive me someday, with whatever amount of dignity remains While I ponder and contemplate what's next for me, as I bow my head in shame Have you ever loved someone so much that it hurts, cause' you realise that the best thing for them is for you to let them go?
