An eternal smile spreads and its not for me
You run through the streets laughing
You've got my head and I think I'm free

I'd like to give you a shove off the table
Watch you shatter over and over again
But you've taken my head and I can't be stealing
The thoughts that make you wonder where should we begin

Awful thoughts like never again
Its thoughts like that and I'm grounded
My head hurts and I'm separated
I lost the treasure but now you've found it

I have a map and I have a plan
It seems they came far too late
Beheaded and I'm fading
My world is not yours to create

Take five
No wait, make it ten
We might as well settle the score
Considering the cause and since you're not my friend

I have too many anyway
I just wish I had my head
I can't keep up with all these numbers
Maybe because my spirit is dead

I understand you would have taken my ability
The one thing I have that I call my own
It was in my head when you stole it
Now I'm all alone

But I'm not sad
Don't you worry yourself my pretty dear
Sometime you will lose your way
The map is inside my head so never fear

It seems I shall sit here forever
Grounded and reading a magazine
I don't need eyes to discover
Exactly what all these strange things mean

I will see you sometime later
Even if you choose not to see
I hope your eyes fall to the ground and you drop my head
Then you can grab a ticket on the same boat as me [comments] => 1 [counter] => 179 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Exodus [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

enjoyed reading this.Felt kind of sad in parts not cos you lost your head but cos you lost those things that belong in there.Things that noone else can touch, as its supposed to be safe in there. The end was quite cool. Funny stuff
