I am but a dot, in this world of strife,
Who will shed a tear for me, in a world of war and pain,
in a world of sorrow, where the devil holds the reins,

Who will shed a tear for me, there is so much sorrow,
who will shed a tear for me if I died tomorrow,
will anybody really care, my troubles seem so small.
when compared to others, who conquer over all,

Who will shed a tear for me, do I have the right,
to think that I deserve their tears, as I cry in the night,
do I have the right, to sit here and groan,
am I destined to spend my life, crying all alone..,

This is a very sad and emotional poem. It has a pitiful reality about it, for there are such people in society. A heartfelt poem, with lots of feeling. I enjoyed reading it, but it also made me think. Thank you so much for sharing it. Sue x

Very heartfelt write. I used to wonder the same thing, but I know now that there are people who will shed a tear. Some people are not as lucky and I feel for them.
Good write

You are so right Lillyjane........this is Satan's world, and with all the wars and strife all over the world, we all shed many tears.
But remember you are a miracle Lillyjane,
You are so unique, no one ever will be just like you, from your birth until your death, you will never again be replaced by anyone just like you.
I know your Loving Creator would shed a tear if you died. He loved you so much he gave his son so that you might live.
Yes, dear lillyjane he himself would shed a tear.........and now that I know you..........I would too!
Warm love
consue

Saddness, yet there are some on this earth that DO NOT have anyone.! People are cruel, and do not let just anyone fit in. Its like that always....no matter when in school, or college, even at work.! i try and talk to all, yet its hard to do it all the time. Lovely, comforting write.

Well I'm glad you know you have friends and family who would be absolutely devastated if anything happened to you mum. Again, you have written a masterpiece and we're all very proud of you.
