[title] => Petals Passed are Found in Ground
[time] => 2006-07-13 10:30:41
[hometext] => This is a poem I've done as part of a series of poems to go alongside my girlfriend's photograhy entitled the Life Cycle of Flowers, I think!!
[bodytext] => As dreams collide and liars mime, They find it hard to tow the line, These noble aims are not so fine, As we have learnt time after time. Long drip fed garbage dressed as praise, And shifting through this dark malaise, Long wasted hours trapped in a maze, Of morbid nights and groundhog days. Those sepia morns of early spring, Of rainbows, streams and magic things, Have faded to the cynic's eye, This flower fading, wilting, dies. But petals passed are found in ground, To feed the seed that lies in mound, Which brings the loop of life around, And plays the faeries folkish sounds. From desperation, born is hope, New futures cleanse the past like soap. A newborn flora flatters slopes, Such beauty new found revoked.
