A child was born
By ancient scripts
It was sworn

This child could tame
The fiery beast
Amongst all she would
Be thought the least

She would prove
To save the world
Not with might
Not with sword

Heart pure
Friend to unicorns
They loved
When she patted horns

Shunning her
People mocked
For her face
Was ugly and pocked

Until the day
Dragon returned
This young lady
Was no longer spurned

For she faced
The reptile fierce
And his heart
With love did pierce

The dragon bowed
Before her lovingly
Then to the skies
He flew away briskly

Shari~
It's amazing how love conquers the toughest of hearts. I love your dragon writes my dear friend. I have always loved dragons and have been fascinated by them ever since I was a little girl~ I agree with Sean and think it would be grand to see you have a series of such captivating and enchanting writes on dragons. I enjoyed this immensely dearest Shari~ Thanks so much for the smiles.
love n hugs,
sue m
