I like meat, it’s really good stuff
But I don’t really like when it gets all tough
Fry, boil or bake, and all that you do
Sometimes still feels like a leathery shoe

Now enter SPAM with its pleasant pink hue
Inside its can all covered with goo
Love it or hate it, but please not the latter
Try frying it up and arrange on a platter

Tender and tasty with crunchy brown edges
Served with herb-sprinkled po-ta-toe wedges
Laugh as you might at this wonderful meal
Taste for yourself and see how you feel

When I was young my mother would make
Ground up SPAM on a bun she would bake
I remember it fondly it tasted so good
And filled up my belly the way that it should

College came fast and money was tight
Kraft dinner and SPAM almost every night
I made it through school and got really smart
Thank you dear SPAM for such a good start

Spam is a food that will last through the ages
Fill up your cart no matter your wages
Big and/or small, young and/or old
Stories of SPAM will always be told [comments] => 4 [counter] => 490 [topic] => 7 [informant] => poet_in_waiting [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

haha cute poem. I actually went to the SPAM museum in Austin, MN. Wow it was crazy. I personally do not like spam we just went there for ***** and giggles. I got some really cool flip flops that spell out spam in the beach or the mud when you walk. That was the highlight of the trip.
