Array ( [sid] => 122954 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Atheist [time] => 2006-07-09 13:50:43 [hometext] => I dont believe in god. I dont care if you do or dont, that is up to you. Its what ever you believe in. [bodytext] => When I was younger
I believed in
"The Lord"
but when you
really stop and think about it
how is it possible?
Really how is there a god?
They say he created the world
he created it in just seven days
"Thus the heavens and the earth
were completed, and all their hosts.
By the seventh day god completed his work he has done,
and he rested on the seventh day,"
If he made the world
who made him?
and who made
the person that made him?
is it just a never ending cycle?
or did he just randomly
appear?
but we
should not think
of things like that
asking those types of questions
can make a person crazy
so I simply say
I am an atheist
not an agnostic, I know what I believe in.

do you know what you believe in?

if there is a god why did he make life such a living hell?
why must everything in it be so confusing? [comments] => 7 [counter] => 300 [topic] => 11 [informant] => The_Unknown [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

Well, I just had to answer your question,

I believe in God whole heartedly, I use to doubt and question the Bible, was lost and living a life with sin and with out God. Then a series of events happened, allowing me to become humble and ready, I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and felt the Holy Spirit that day in the church as I did , and will NEVER doubt again, You either belive or you dont, I pray for people in my life who are not walking with God for hope that they may have the beautiful and amazing expierience i had and hope some day you come to believe, God bless you,

LG

I believe in God.

I have faith. and so do you.
even young babies have faith in my opinion.

When they cry they know they will be given milk to nurture.

When you turn on a light switch you have faith thsat it will come on.

I know What I believe in despite all my

problems.

IF GOD IS WITH US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US.

You believed when you were younger, I am sure that you can again., its your choice.

God Bless you.

look around you at Gods Gift to us all Mother nature.

Doug :-)

I believe, we all ask questions I think we will be given the answers when we meet God... Nature is beautiful and I cant believe there was not a master mind behind it .. Just think how your body works something like that could not of made its self. xxxx

You say that you know what you believe in. I am just curious to know: when you don't believe in a higher power, what exactly DO you believe in then?

There are people who cling to "logic" but some things cannot be explained by the rational mind.

Anyway, I hope that you do have faith in something. At least have faith in yourself.

Take care

Far be it for me to even try-n-answer your questions. I think we all have questions and I believe that one should work out their own salvation.
I do believe babies are fresh new luv, (god) sent to Earth from out there some where and they are just that luv. Little ones are born into a world full of evilness.
luv, big huggs,
emy
We all have our own thoughts, beleifs and you have shown an openess of doubt.
Keep writing.

well, i think it was very bold of you to post this (and i say that in a good way). i believe in God and im not even going to try to force my beliefs on you coz that is ignorant. i think Christianity is the religion that most pressures people. i very much disagree with the whole "believe in my religion" thing. thats saying somebody is stupid and their beliefs are wrong. sorry, i get really fired up about this topic. lol

may you find happiness in whatever path you take
