If smiling was abolished,
What a sad world it would be,
For a smile can brighten anyones day,
It's a lovely sight to see,

If laughing was illegal,
And was deemed to be a crime,
How would we show our gratitude,
For a joke or silly rhyme,

If giggling was prohibited,
The jokes would have to drop,
Because giggling is infectious,
And it would be hard to stop,

So what would life be like,
Without these things we cherish,
It would be a sad sad world,
I fear we would all perish,

I fear we would all perish...

Geesh. I would sure wish to, at the VERY least...Just reading this alone gave me a smile, so it's a good thing they're NOT abolished!! : )

I enjoyed this quite a bit, even though the mere thought is depressing all to hell!!!

Smiling, giggling, laughter, all go hand in hand. You can't goggle without smiling, and the same is true of laughter. Smiling lets people know what your attitude is without ever saying one word. Thank you for sharing this. wrdz

Sue~
You go girl. You certainly know how to put a smile on ur readers face. How dull and sad this world would be if smiling, laughter and etc we abolished. It'd be a world that ceases to exist. A most enjoyable write my dear friend. 5 smiling stars for u dearest Sue*****

If it were abolished, I'd be in big trouble right now,
Sue, because this piece has me grinning from ear to ear.

Wonderful write and I'm with scorp. If I couldn't smile, or
show any outward sign of happiness, I'd certainly want to
perish too!! Good grief!
