Still here right next to me.
Next to me- so very near
I wonder how it would be...

I still keep thinking I'll see her some day
I'm still thinking she'll reappear
Only that day becomes further & further away
And I'm forgetting what it was like to have her here.

It hurts to face reality and trust she's gone forever
And it hurts to think that I can't see her pretty face
I wonder if it makes her sad that we can't be together
Is she mad that she has now lost this life-long race?

Because I'm mad - mad that she left me
It hurts to know I wasn't her choice
I hope that all my pain she can see
I hope she can see that I should've been her choice

Sometimes I think it helps for me to just sit and cry
I love her so much that I hate her for this
Why was she the one to die
Because now she's the one I'll always miss

I hope if nothing else, this felt good to write, and while doing so (I hope) brought about some pleasant memories of her...I'm so sorry for your loss, and I can't begin to imagine what that's like. Keep up the writes, and in due time I hope the pain dulls, and the happy memories increase...Take Care.

Scorp.
