Swallowed Whole

Contributed by unbreakable on Friday, 7th July 2006 @ 09:45:06 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Swallowed whole in the depths
Of a Thunder Clouds
Serenity.

Where the hole in heart
My minds Eye, sees the sorrows
Youll never see.

Shouting in volumes
At the speed of Sound
Unspoken words too few

And crying oceans
Meant to drown
The inconsiderate You.

This cloud, this cell
The chains that bind;
We all drift to the sky.

If only these Stars
Could grant my wish
And teach you how to cry.

I can live without feeling
Without love or loss
But I would never be whole.

For one more heart
Who feels no sorrow
Means one more wasted soul.

Ill cherish this cloud,
And learn the lessons
It always meant to teach.

By shedding your ignorance,
And embracing my past,
Nothing will be out of reach.

This serenity will accept
Who I am, always was,
And hope to be.

So leave me with the Stars,
Wishing for the truth
I know can set me free.

wow...this is absolutely amazing, someone should try and get this published or put into a song. I just love the flow and the way that I can actually picture what is happening in the poem....BRILLIANT, JUST BRILLIANT
