Array ( [sid] => 122757 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Let Freedom Ring [time] => 2006-07-05 02:15:57 [hometext] => This is dedicated to those soldiers and family members that have serviced in our armed force in the past present and will in the future. [bodytext] => Let freedom ring

Let ring for each and everyone
They serve proudly to protect our homes
So we may hear it ring

Our son and daughters
Proudly protect this USA
So we may hear freedom ring

They service both near and far
To proudly protect us here at home
So we can be free from our fears

Our soldiers both men and women
Give their lives in honor to protect us
So we may be free

Both near and far
They serve us proud
To protect the our country

May we never forget
Those who have served
Both then and now

So we can hear
Our freedom ring
Here in the good old USA.

Let us take amount in time
To thank those that has served us proud
And remember those that has given their lives
So we may hear freedom ring.

As we celebrate here
On this 4th of July
Our Independence Day

I say let freedom ring
Oh just let it ring
For those men and women
Let Freedom Ring

To serve in the military, I think, is one of the most respectable and honerable professions out there, yet it's also one of those things we tend to take for granted, especially here where I live. It's great that you wrote this in hounor of our great hero's

I like this poem, it's so positive with such good intentions, thank you for sharing, yet, these soldiers are not dying and serving for freedom, like they think they are but econimical and politcal strength, even oil. And whilst millions upon millions die in poverty and starvation around the rest of the world, you will sleep soundly i'm sure, you have your freedom.
sorry, nice poem though.

Peace does have such a painful price. Thank God for the soldier. Thanks to all who stand behind him. The sacrifice so great.Wonderful words for a day that celebrates the freedom that has been gained and the price that has been paid.Ring loud and long."Lest We Forget"
