The power of judgement
It is not your own
The power is over you alone

The voices the names
We are all the same

In the mirror you see perfection
Not beauty but your soul
The skin helps to fool
But looks are not your only tool

Your mirror is a distortion
The real you is but a small portion

But still you do judge
As though you were king
Like everyone will believe its true
do you really think they have no clue

Judge the men judge the dogs do
They are all more human then you

As the people around you fade
Question their loyalty
How dare they defy you the judge
All that they say its lies that stuff

Your friends must have been bad all along
You just keep judging singing the same old song

The power you have
Has left you alone
With no family or friend
The fragile relationships brake and never mend

With no one for your judgement to touch
You find it all horribly to much

Step down from your pedistal
Afraid of there judgement
Make yourself lower still
And over your bad thoughts do mill

Its your medicine that your tasting
It shows you the life you were wasting

Lower then a dog
You feed yourself on slurps
The slurps of judgement you can find
Any little thought of being unkind

You lost all in you that was humain
Now in this world you stay as a stain

A smudge of dirt
A soulless monster
In the mirror you see perfection
In the mirror i see your reflection [comments] => 1 [counter] => 299 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Anesthetic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

108 reads and not a single comment? that should be a crime. very nice write, i totally get where you're coming from, and i am so glad it didn't sound like some unit from a health class. i'm gonna have to read more.
