Bad things I've done (this was the year)

Contributed by Shyne on Wednesday, 28th June 2006 @ 05:32:40 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

This is the year

The year I skipped school plenty and smoked weed
Was the year I lost my virginity
Was the year I hung out with a female thug
She deceived me with lies and hugs
She hung out with her boyfriend thug
Who she stayed addicted to like a drug
The funny thing is that they reminded me of Bonnie and Kylde
She would do anything for him and was down for the ride
She pulled me down alot
Until I just realized this mess just got to stop
This was the year I got into a wrek
I could be gone life after death
Was the year I found out my best friend was pregnant
by her brothers bestfriend
The sad part about it is that he has another woman
But he is not willing to admit
This was the year that Satan thought he had me
He's been trying to get me for a long time
I can say he's got some
But it's all in his mind
This was the year of 2006
The year I grew up
The year of broken sticks
The year of pain
and leaving people I thought were my friends alone
This was the year, I'm gone

Some might say "It took you long enough!" But they don't realize that God works in ways we have no comprehension of. We are let to do things and after a time, we find out it's not for us. Then is when we have learned that we need to go in another direction. Good for you. I hope and will pray that your new direction is one of nothing but good things for you. Thank you for sharing this well written piece. wrdz
