As soon as your lips started moving,
I knew it was gonna be a lie,
The words they just kept on coming
As you looked me dead in the eye.
You were saying the same thing as always
And blamed me for not having trust,
But damn, do you think I'm that stupid?
From what I'm hearing, you obviously must.
And you say it with so much conviction
Like It's coming deep down from your heart,
But the longer you keep It all going
The farther we both grow apart.
So the next time your lips, they start twitching,
Just aching to lie to my face,
Remember I was looking when I found you,
And you definatly can be replaced.

Your reason for liking this piece is obvious (or should be). Your personal involvement makes this piece so much more to you. As well it should. Good job of venting emotions as well as letting him know where he is at as far as you are concerned. Thank you for sharring this. wrdz |
