What If

LoveRemembered
|
What if I
Was just like you?
What if I was ten thousand years old
and in the corner of my eye
I still saw you.
What if I
made love to you?
Would you shudder become unhinged?
Would you gasp
At the syringe Instilling a mixture of passion and confusion,
Veins green with tonic
Smiling into the meeting of my thighs.
But what if I
was just
like
you?
