A Sonnet for Her Sillhouette

Contributed by Lucid_Tides on Sunday, 25th June 2006 @ 09:53:26 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Vanity tolls the bell of agression
Animosity was the cause of her depression
Masterpieces in the art of death
Pride was taken with her last breath
Into the night, she inquires her prey
Raging for blood until the light of day
Ethereal mind reborn to feed
Killing those of the human breed
In the shadows she will patiently wait
Suspended from daylight, a bitter fate
Silently she whispers into the night
Eternal, her glow, a splendorous sight
Sinking her fangs deeper with every piercing bite

Dark and melancholic. I see a signature style. Good write.
