... i am the step mother in a family where my step daughter lives with us... a sticky situation, it has been, for several years... and sometimes, when the frustration gets to be too much... i simple relent... but inside, which is where my writing comes from... i let it out... i possibly should have put this poem in with the sarcastic poems... ... thank you for your "poem comment"... i shall enjoy reading your works, me thinks...

Perhaps Wry isn't a fan of the application of perceptions. I read this twice, one with objectivity and one after having read your perspective on it. Either way, I understood the gist of it. With a foreknowledge of what to expect the meaning to be the second time, however, my understanding was clarified and I know how dfficult it can be for both members of this relationship to cope. Thanks for the poem, Lady.. :)

Seeing your reasons for writing this, made it very interesting. I understood the idea, though the step daughter scenario right off. What you did here put you among my favs. For you have wrote this in a way that many can relate, regaurdless of the situation. A rare talent to come across.
