fulfilled, whatever they want to be (cliché)
top of the heap, bottom of the barrel,
leader,
follower,

firefighter, law enforcer,
arsonist, thief,

helpful, thoughtful,
hateful, heartless

prosperous, destitute,
materialistic, environmentalist,

athlete, singer,
cripple, mute,

dead…

ALIVE!– living spirited,
Pious, agnostic,

good, bad,
happy, sad,

Mindless of direction they wander
wondering and worrying
about everything and
nothing. With future uncertain
what will my children achieve,
settle for, become,

The Futue of Sons and Daughters

What will they become?

good, bad
happy, sad,
fulfilled, whatever they want to be (cliché)
top of the heap, bottom of the barrel,
leader,
follower,

firefighter, law enforcer,
arsonist, thief,

helpful, thoughtful,
hateful, heartless

prosperous, destitute,
materialistic, environmentalist,

athlete, singer,
cripple, mute,

dead…

ALIVE!– living spirited,
Pious, agnostic,

good, bad,
happy, sad,

Mindless of direction they wander
wondering and worrying
about everything and
nothing. With future uncertain
what will my children achieve,

be?
