slower the heartbreak, The louder the sound

oops
|
watching out my window,
at the drops of rain
a part of me is hoping
that you are doing the same.
holding on to the comfort
that you actually may care
is stopping me from falling
deeper in despair.
but as i look into this empty room
at the shadows on the wall
all i see are echos
of the love we had before
my heart is bruised not broken
thats what the medics will say
but nothing they could give me
would ever heal the pain
so as i gaze through this window
at the sky so grey
i will put my heart into its box
and i'll gently fade away
