She Wished the World to End

Contributed by Lucid_Tides on Tuesday, 20th June 2006 @ 09:47:39 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Take what means the most
And embrace it with all your might
Forget the memories
that left you tepid tonight
The illumination around you
Will die with the lights of grace
So grasp uhold your only love
Because tonight shall end before your face
And don't let the tears
Part you from what you hold
This cosmic warfare taking place
Within the sky that seems so cold
And don't let the shrapnel hit
From the polemy that I can taste
Quintessence is within us all
Yet you stand with a look so chaste..

Nothing more would ease my cries
Than to end your worries
And say no goodbye's
Now Introduced
To a world this impure
And there is nothing we can do
To stablize or cure..

This universe is suffering..

So take take my hand
And close your eyes
Tonight the cosmic war
Set ablaze to the skies
Of our universe
And the universes at cost
The dust motes gathering
As our vision is lost

Tonight the moon grew vitally ill
Before Armageddon the night was still
Tonight we'll die with family and friends..
Tonight she wished the world to end..

very nicely written, I like your poem, the way I hear it, is to let it all go, not to worry, something out there will save.
