telling of the absurdity
i feel and go through for you.

floating through scarlet space
i am an angry monument
to you, to me, or to whatever
it is we have.

everytime i see you, i'm afraid
it will be the last
everytime you touch me
i fear the feeling will shortly pass.

i cry for grace to save me-
i run for cover whenever you call
but clumsy me, i only find you
and the grin on your face as you
watch me stumble to my fall.

i look for your face each day
in passing cars
though you're minutes away,
it seems unbearably far.

you must be illusion for i sense
no depth to anything you say
and i must be the crazy one
to have believed
that you are someone
who might actually stay. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 225 [topic] => 2 [informant] => priss [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

I love this poem. I think you've done enough of the running though, let someone else put the trainers on! Be cool because you never know, maybe you have the same effect on someone else but you've been too busy with your own insecurities that you haven't even noticed them!

'passing cars' and ships in the night. By this piece let it be known you did your job of holding true to your heart.

Good job getting this on the page.

Blessings
