I think I'll post whatever I can find from that class to get me started, then come back with something new, hopefully. [bodytext] => Standing
Alone.
Stripping down to the basics—
Back to me.
Water cascades,
Hot and relaxing.
Steam rises
As if it were the same excitement in the
Slow
Beat of my heart
While a wordless,
Soulful,
Pure-human
Melody
Makes its way
From my heart to the veins—
Catch the soul ‘neath the throat,
All serene.
And it soars into flight
To float with the steam,
Feeling as freeing and filling as falling—
Surging and sparkling.
Crescendo,
Vibrato,
Forte and
Spforzando!

Cut to the chase of a highway’s dream,
Sreaming and endless,
Glorious hope—and there’s no holding back.
An FM pop recycling bin
Spouting lyrics I love to sing.
The melody is free;
The dashboard beat box bumps;
The seatbelt
The dance’s only restraint.
It goes on for galaxies:
The rush of the yellow line,
The flicker of scenery

And the music.
