Smog alert in February is scandalous
So should any smog day.
Blue sky no longer the standard.
Too many see the this haze
through conditioned eyes

Same conditioning creates armies of
complacent consumers,

Believing when gas dips below
ninety cents a litre, it’s a good day.
Believing automakers that say
an SUV is fuel efficient,
Believing that global warming
is not really happening
Believing the rain forest
is not disappearing
Believing that tax was a war measure
that will end one day
Believing that a politician
will do what they promise

Idle complaints about power
Unfounded when believing is the norm
Don’t believe
Do question
Fill the box with an educated X
