To walk in your shoes for one whole day

To see the world through your eyes,

See the pain that you feel

feel the fears that you fear

But would you do the same, for me?

I have always looked up too you

but now I'm opening my eyes,

To see the person standing before me

A childhoods dream crushed to the ground

Childhoods memories never wanting to be repeated

Watery eyes, a souless heart

Of a young girl who lost her faith

Did you kno, you use to be my hero?

I really wanted to be just like you.

But to now open my eyes,

to see the woman deep inside

oh, I must of have been brain washed from the start

to think, that a human being so curel was so normal.

To the tears I have, the fears I have

(mostly because of you)

I'll slowly say goodbye, and watch them die

I'll turn into stone, with a frown on my face

Never to show a human emotion any more.

And too think, I still wanna walk in your shoes

it is a good poem and the poet has written form his heart which should be appreciated. Friend, you truly have it in you but write only that pleases your soul, and you can make it.
