all night long my heart aches
no one to care

He came back to me
I dont know what to do
why would he want me back
with all the changes I put him
through

He wanted us to try our love
again hey that was a U Turn
I stomped on his heart one day
and all his trust in me I surely
burned

I didnt feel I was good enough
for him I took a back seat to
being monogamous
I thought if it was cool I would
play both sides of the fence

Im sitting here for a moment
my regrets are overwhelming me
its been so long since Ive seen him
if decide to give us another shot
where do we go from here

Its running through my head those
words Im so sorry
I cried them over and over again

That day I wanted to forget to
somehow escape the pain
his appearance brings back
memories of the damage that I had
done
He says he still loves me time had
healed all wounds
and without me hes alone

I still love him I didnt realize it until
those words he said
I should of I could of I would of oh why
now say those words in my head

Someday Someway Somehow
my trangressions will be rectified

For the rest of my life I will love him endlessly
because I never thought I was good enough
but he was one of the ones who did

fiction or not..there's much more to be said by your words here -
Love comes once and when it does, you better grab it fast.. who knows how long it will last. I've been on boths ends of the spectrum, and have found little solace in either outcome.

Good work~

B.

Yes, although you say it is fiction.... this is exactly what I'm going through. I very much enjoyed it!

Very heartfelt and full of raw emotions. The kind of write that brings back flutters of memory as surely many of us have experienced similar feelings.
The power of love touches us all. Well done.

Merry
