and filled numerous of spaces
Ive had magnitudes of enjoyments
and lived a life of flamboyance

Life couldnt had gotten any better
my career flourished
and is tied to me like a tether

Yet Im in need of solitude
to keep the beast inside me calm
letting go of all my frustrations
while dealing with my every qualm

Lose myself for just one day
sit and stare out onto the lonesome bay

Leave all my cares for a minute in the wind
to soothe my soul and spirit
so together theyll mend

My friends and family area calling
wanting to get together
they are my bonds
which are tied to me I dare not sever

Solitude is all I need
so I wont become emotionally coarse
peace and serenity is my necessity
to pinpoint my weaknesses and its source

Peers of mine are not understanding
when I try to explain it
seems Im grandstanding

Solitude is all I need my
spirit has become interrupted
Burying my head in my hands
to get a depiction of all that is of substance

Im shutting my doors and closing my blinds
Im going to leave the rest of the world behind

Just for a day I need this for me
to re-defy the essence of my being

Im turning the phones off
and dimming the lights
just to watch the sunset as it rises

My eyes are heavy and Im falling
into a silenced deep sleep
dreaming my steps are becoming lighter
with no weighted endurances
upon my feet

Im in a place of sweet ecstasy
my mind is recovering with peace
my body is light as a feather
and my heart is suddenly appeased

My outer appearance is glowing
refined from the overexertions of life
my eyes are filled with elation
so wide and so bright

My soul is renewed without conscious
with my spirit being high as a cloud
I want to stay here a little while longer
and endure this sacred mound [comments] => 5 [counter] => 182 [topic] => 19 [informant] => BRONZEN [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )

I, and I'm sure many others can definately relate to this piece. I could feel the frustration and then the release as followed you along in this tale.
Well done!
