we'll look back on life together
and i'll look into your eyes
i'll still see that beautiful girl
who took me by surprise

and hopefully you will have found
the happiness you deserve
we can put your perfection in a glass
cos its that i want to preserve

When I lie next to you,
I never sleep i stare,
My eyes well up with tears,
as I gentley stroke your hair.

I hope your dreams are peaceful,
and care free with no fear
and as i lie next to you,
i hold you tight my dear.

I will never leave you
even though you think i will
but you just wait, when we grow old together
and I will be here still.
