There's a Name for Girls like You

Contributed by alasdaircairns on Friday, 9th June 2006 @ 02:13:36 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

You're not pretty, but pretty unsure of all you do,
Oh there's a name for girls like you.
Shots and shorts to numb your pain,
Then another fumble through the pouring rain.
Despite my hurt, wish you'd broken through,
But you're the same little girl as when I met you.
Oh different bedspreads every night,
Assure you that everything is right.

I never could find your heart,
I've never seen you really laugh,
You lost before you chose to start,
Denial, hatred and garden paths.
You're misery won't make you free,
But thanks so for making me.
That life I crazed for, passion, lust,
That now fulfills me, knew it must.
I'm turning to relearning trust,
She rests me on her loving bust.
But remember or maybe think anew,
There's a name for girls like you.
Different men to deny your pain,
Looks like rain...
