the senses, yet I knew
through the royal din
my life had just changed
Familiar, yet fresh and new
exhilaration.

I began soaring

Lighter, lifted beyond senses
My heart acquiesced
to the thought
of your presence, touch,
being.
To actually have it
overwhelming.

Soaring beyond dreams

Two hearts
from different worlds,
dreams transformed
into real life. Sometimes
our thoughts take our minds
in different directions
paths joyfully and painfully crossing.

By we soar above the friction.

Still I see you sometimes from a distance,
like a moving picture of the first time,
heart racing, stomach flutters, uncontrollable smile
inside and out

And we continue soaring [comments] => 4 [counter] => 139 [topic] => 2 [informant] => poet_in_waiting [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

This was very beautiful... I like reading poems about love and how others capture the meaning of it and how it feels.. I especially enjoyed your poem.. This sense of soaring that you wrote.. I can relate to it.. I loved this poem.. I hope that you have found true happiness..

take care
christina

A beautiful tale that describes that "flutter" of the soul. Nicely written and expertly conveyed

So good to read a poet able to move from satirical pieces to achingly sweet recollections of coming of age. Delicate, hopeful and so sensitive.
