is over
our words flowed heavily blaming it
all on the hurt

I thought everything we did was based
around us
our bond was whisked away like the
mere dust

The music we hear playing saddens us
so
Its tearing our hearts apart were
familiarizing with every note

We are not feeling the love that we
felt once before
you didnt look behind and I didnt
look up when you walked out that
door

(You and I) was our song but it seems
we both have forgotten the words
Maybe that song is an oldie and is
labeled for beginning lovebirds

We should of updated to a new song
(Make it last for ever)
Its too late now we both made a
decision that cant be altered

Years of love has gone away with no
chance of reconciliation
We both know although we cant be
together
in our hearts our names will be graven
