This reality is so unreal.
As you disappeared from sight.
I’m still waiting just to feel.
This day just hasn’t gone right.

Emotions buried so deep.
I couldn’t hope to relive again.
But now you enter eternal sleep.
And they resurfaced to the devils playpen.

The chaos that torments my mind.
You were my weakness that I never knew.
Your gentle nature left me so blind.
I never thought this nightmare could come true.

You left without hesitation.
How could you be so sure.
That it was just the situation.
When you have yet to endure.

This pain runs deep inside.
Nestled closely amongst my core.
Now that you are no longer at my side.
I’ve lost it all and more.

Did you ever stop to think.
What an effect this would have on me.
Life’s bottle drained of it’s ink.
To live again you are not worthy.

I whispered a selfless prayer.
That God may have mercy on you.
Right into the thin air.
But I forgot that fairy tales weren’t true.

You were my only hope left.
And now you are gone.
I accuse you of theft.
You stole my heart from which you belong.
