Where do you go every time you get high?
to a place where all of your worries die
slowly forgetting every great memory
eats through your mind like a growing disease

As you take each hit, one by one
a little piece of you, forgotten and gone
slipping further into this abusive drill
you’ll never realize, until it kills

This hobby of yours, it pulls you apart
there’s nothing left of you, not even a heart
can’t even remember what’s worth fighting for
as you let your life walk out the door

The hurt it brings, the pain you cause
see right past the love, reveals your flaws
tell me again that its your last puff
but in reality, you found your true love...

One day you’ll know, one day you’ll see
why I fought so hard for you and me
too high to realize what you’ve lost

Where do you go every time you get high?
to a place where all of your worries die
