Alone, depressed, lost…
I don’t know which way to go,
Which path I should take, or what I should feel
And I fear I never will.

I want to follow my screaming heart,
But my loyalty deafens me…
I have tried to stop these feelings,
For the good of a friendship.

But I struggle in vain, unable to gain control…

I beg of you now…
Simply glance my way with love in your eyes,
Warm my soul with your smile…
Let me know that there ARE things worth living for,
Giving my life some sort of meaning…

For I have forgotten life’s value…
And without insight
To its priceless ness
Or importance…
I’m afraid I may also be forgotten…

I don’t know the answers to my questions
So I continue on my search.
I only hope one day my journey will end…
And that the path will lead me,
Right into your open arms… [comments] => 7 [counter] => 233 [topic] => 48 [informant] => holderofthestone [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 23 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
