Array ( [sid] => 12136 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Home At 9 [time] => 2003-02-08 00:00:00 [hometext] => Country Rock....I would love to have the chance to be able to spend a night out in a honky tonk bar .LOL...For the music AND the cowboys;) [bodytext] => All dressed up and waiting
On the front porch at my mums
You pulled into the driveway
And turned on that ol' charm

You winked at me ,said get on in
Slide your body close to mine
You smiled as you yelled out to dad
I'll have her home by nine

We sped off down the ol dirt road
Said you wanted me to see
A lil place,tucked neat away
In amongst some apple trees

I said lets drive a lil faster
Don't tease this womans mind
Remember that you promised
To have me home by nine
So hurry up put your foot down
We're wastin too much time
There's no room for talkin' babe
My daddy wants me home at nine

He said almost there,I can see it now
The road we'll take to see this dream
Our lil place tucked neat away
By a clear blue runnin' stream

It's got flowers for your pretty hair
Growing wild by the trees
And there's a lil log cabin
I built for us especially

I said lets drive a lil faster
Don't tease this womans mind
Remember that you promised
To have me home by nine
So hurry up put your foot down
We're wastin too much time
There's no room for talkin' babe
My daddy wants me home at nine

He pulls up in a clearing
Behind those apple trees
Opens up the door and says
Honey follow me

He takes my hand and leads me
To the cabin by the stream
And when I look into his eyes
He knows what I mean

Wrapped up in each other
Love they've never known
She says honey, take this woman inside
Then you can drive her home

Slowly he takes her inside
Lies her body on the bed
He just wants to take his time
She's got other plans instead

I said lets drive a lil faster
Don't tease this womans mind
Remember that you promised
To have me home by nine
So hurry up put your foot down
We're wastin too much time
There's no room for talkin' babe
My daddy wants me home at nine
You see I can't stand to wait no more
I'll do the drivin this time
There's no room for talkin babe
