Feel free to watch me as I fall

Go off to play your naive game,
Every day it's all the same

I'm an ocean and a sea or three,
From anyone who could save me

Spin my head round, as i'm driven insane,
I reached to you but all in vain

You've got front row seats, so please, be seated,
Watch as I get shamelessly defeated

Life's pawn at play, i'm standing on the chopping block,
"your time's up", chimes the devil's clock

Nobody's to blame, i tried
But with hell now i collide [comments] => 3 [counter] => 170 [topic] => 75 [informant] => drtylilsecret [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

This sounds like me when I lived in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona (fast 'n' faster lanes o' livin' in the USA). I wrote what I can only call an answer from m' Maker to a "way out" of what this world's becoming! Ask ya read my post, Understanding.

Your poem, first off is excellent, captures considerable emotive confusion, annoyance, lonliness and impatience. Sounds like step 1, 2 or 3 of therapy poetry. Hang in there!

wow. this poem is...amazing. i absolutely love it...some poems are the best when written just kind of randomly. you don't have enough time to criticise yourself and change all the good parts.

beautiful
